Summa Dat Que Earns Multiple Awards at the 2025 NBBQA Awards of Excellence

Douglas, GA – February 7, 2025 – The National Barbecue & Grilling Association (NBBQA) is excited to announce that Summa Dat Que has received top honors at the 2025 NBBQA Awards of Excellence, earning recognition in two highly competitive categories.

Summa Dat Que’s Award Wins:

• Fifth Place – Spicy Rub: SDQ Hot

The NBBQA Awards of Excellence celebrate the best in the barbecue industry, recognizing products that showcase exceptional flavor, quality, and craftsmanship. Judging took place on December 7, 2024, at Sweet Swine O’Mine Distributing, where industry experts evaluated rubs and seasonings based on flavor balance, aroma, texture, and overall appeal.

Summa Dat Que’s SDQ Pitmasters Blend secured Second Place in the Pork Rub category, demonstrating a perfect blend of spices and rich, smoky undertones, making it a standout choice for pitmasters and backyard grillers alike. Additionally, their SDQ Hot rub placed Fifth in the Spicy Rub category, showcasing a bold and fiery profile that adds depth and heat to any dish.
